Doris Damoulakis - Clinical Psychologist / Practice Principal

Doris Damoulakis is a professional, experienced, warm and empathic Clinical Psychologist.

Doris believes that effective change becomes possible when there is a solid connection and collaborative working relationship between client and therapist. Doris’ work aims to increase personal awareness for the creation of choices, improved health and well-being.


Her work with adults, adolescents, children, couples, families and organisations has been informed by her extensive experience in Mental Health, Organisational, Educational and Clinical private practices, University Anxiety Clinics, NSW Ministry of Health (Youth Health) and in the Department of Community Services.

 

Doris is an accredited supervisor of intern psychologists and a lecturer at Macquarie University. Doris has also developed and facilitated groups as well as provided consultancy and training for both government and private organisations including secondary education institutions and Mental Health.

 

As a clinical psychologist, Doris’ particular skill lies in the assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based treatment of mental health conditions. In particular, Doris has worked and trained extensively in the field of anxiety disorders and as such this is an area of expertise she is able to offer clients.

 

In addition, Doris has provided evidenced - based assessment and treatment services for young people aged 12-24yrs for over 10 years. and Doris considers this to be an area of special interest and expertise. Doris is also bilingual and able to conduct therapy in either English or Greek.

 

Doris’ qualifications include Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), Post Graduate Diploma of (Child and Adolescent) Psychology, Diploma of Applied Counselling and a Master of (Clinical) Psychology

Louise Gee - Senior Psychologist

Louise is a compassionate, empathic and professional Senior Psychologist. Louise has experience in both the public and private sector working with children, adolescents, adults and families. Louise has experience in the areas of trauma and child and adolescent mental health.

 

Louise has a special interest in trauma, anxiety disorders, including social phobia and school refusal, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, mood disorders, behaviour management and parenting. Louise is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focussed CBT, CBT for Eating Disorders, Dialectical and Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

 

Louise’s qualifications include Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and Post Graduate Diploma of Child and Adolescent Psychology. She is also an accredited Trauma Focussed CBT Supervisor.
